'Bullied relentlessly during their youth and diminished further by their parents expectations of them, Mae wishes to leave their current life behind. Seeking to make something of themselves that will be seen by society and wanting the time to focus on themselves they believe their answer is in the MMDG, answering the call of the draft. All the while finding their parents becoming increasingly judgemental and restrictive, they cut them off, refusing to speak to them. While often preoccupied with what meaning their life should have, Mae will have to work hard on their path to self awareness and find some sort of peace with the past so their creativity can flourish when it is most needed of them.'
