Not the best start to a year and its been going really fast.

During the story, most of the world won't be known or used at all. Basically about half as you see on the left. However, by somewhat of an accident I finished the whole thing so thats...good, haha.
I used numerous maps as references and combined them into a unique version entirely hand painted by myself. Since this perticular time period is all speculation and guesswork, I thought somewhere in between lots of peoples idea's would be most "correct". I suppose showing this reveals an important aspect of the Novem setting, if you can guess when it is
WIP- The complicated and pained brotherhood of the Frald twins. One a sworn caretaker to the other, strong but always ignored and forcibly devoted to earn the meagre affection of others. The other, the chosen child, favourited and spoilt by all but weak and used ruthlessly for his unique talent. Complicated feelings of hatred and loathing while feeling completely alone to all others aside from each other. Brotherhood in its strongest bond and the understanding neither one of them is truly to blame for their hurt.
I saw some group photo's on pinterest, and while I was perticularly ill did these on my portable tablet. I think they're adorable. I never used to (still not really) be comfortable with backgrounds and enviroments, however they add so much life and lore to my world that I cant help wanting to.
